Our Interests
Ajoriya Foundation imagines a future where heritage is woven into education, livelihoods, digital storytelling, and everyday life. Through archives, artisan enterprises, festivals, and climate-conscious preservation, we work to ensure that culture is lived, shared, and sustained across generations.
Learning, Research & Advocacy
We work with schools, universities, cultural institutions and community members to create learning resources rooted in local histories and knowledge systems. Through research and dialogue, we also contribute to policy conversations that support inclusive and community-led approaches to heritage.

Economic Empowerment and Cultural Exchange
We collaborate with artisans, cultural practitioners, and local communities to strengthen livelihoods and sustain traditional knowledge. Through festivals, exchange programs, and partnerships across regions and countries, we create spaces where cultures meet, learn from one another, and evolve.

Documenting, Caring for, and Sharing Heritage
We document tangible and intangible heritageβfrom crafts and oral histories to landscapes and historic sites. Our work includes cultural mapping, supporting local museums and archives, and building skills for conservation and restoration within communities.

Technology as a Tool for Access and Storytelling
We use audio-visual and digital tools to record, interpret, and share stories from the region, making heritage more accessible to wider audiences while ensuring that communities remain at the centre of how their histories are told.
