Akash Bharadwaj

curation

Akash is a researcher and curator based between New Delhi and Patna. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree that examines the role of museums and archives in the production of cultural, political, and social narratives for Bihar, with a focus on how these practices shape the idea of a region in conversation with national and global contexts. His broader interests include exhibition-making, vernacular visual cultures, and how places and objects construct and communicate identity.

Amrit Raj

Media and Executive Production

Amrit is a filmmaker, researcher, and PhD candidate in Cinema Studies at the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His interest lies in media circulation, informal film economies, and visual cultures in small-town India. Amrit has directed and edited documentary films, including projects funded by the Regunath Research Fellowship and German Development Cooperation (GIZ), focusing on themes like migration and labour. He has also worked as a cinematographer and editor and served as guest faculty at Ambedkar University, Delhi.

Kartikey Shukla

Enterprise Development

Kartikey is a social entrepreneur with a decade of experience in project management, cultural research and system strengthening exercises for public-private partnership projects. His expertise lies in organisational development, partnership and ecosystem development. Kartikey has completed his higher studies from TISS, Lund University, Young India Fellowship and Lucknow University.

Tanuja Jha

Research and Collection’s Management

Tanuja holds a Master’s degree in Archaeology from Deccan College Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Pune. A museum professional with a deep interest in folklore, folk art, and cultural heritage, she specialises in collections’ documentation, archiving, and iconographic studies. She is working on a documentation of Maithili folk songs from Bihar. Tanuja is also an active freelance researcher and translator and has collaborated on cultural and academic initiatives, including projects with BBC Media.
